Accessories. I love them. Rings, bangles, bracelets... the occasional necklace. The past year the collection just kept growing. They outgrew my small box. Time to reorganize. I once took my hubby's itsy bitsy stuff out of his mini drawers to see if my stuff fits. Not. I really needed to settle these babies into something more appropriate and out of the way.
Like the real stuff, one has to get them blings their own plastic bags. I prefer the ziplocks. These would protect them from scratches. The stones and crystals will not unnecessarily bump into one another thus preventing breakage. They maybe novelty and most not as valuable but still I'd like to keep them in good shape.

I remembered I got an authentic Japanese wood organizer at a flee market. It organized the smaller ones quite well.

A comfy lined compartment is just but the perfect home for the blings!
What is it?
It's our "abandoned" picnic basket. Just the right size. It keeps well.

And it's just the right size to fit under my work desk. Perfect.
Yes girlfriends, pricey or off the bargain rack, our blings deserve to be kept in separate plastic compartments. It will make them last longer. Don't forget to wipe them with dry cloth after using them and before you put them away.

While in the subject of unending sunshine in our country...
Meet my cute straw hat.
I took a risk here. It is never advisable to buy hats online where one cannot be sure of the measurements
and fit.
Luckily this baby fits!
Isn't it such a cutie? An H x M straw hat. Very light weight and very affordable (that's important right?).
It's casual, not too intimidating for city wear. You know what I mean.

And it hides my unkept hair hahahahaha!
Please meet my photographer. She directed me in this shoot.
Yeah, my hair is nothing compared to her beautiful curly locks...

Stay cool everyone! Cover up and drink your liquids.

3 more days...
Are you READY?

LifeDance 2012 happens this Saturday everyone! Brace Cebu...brace. It will be EPIC!!!
Since I'm part of the roaster of the production photographers I had been staring and staring and staring at my gears and all the past week, making sure every single item on my checklist is accounted for. The biggest event to happen in Cebu!
Just like any photography assignment I go beyond the preparations of my gears. I always want to be appropriately dressed for the occasion. And this one definitely calls for the urban chic!

Trusty utility belt for photography with the lens caps and all will have to sit this one day out (the affair goes for 15 hours...). Out the closet comes my more casual Gucci belt bag. I like to go bag-free, therefore, worry-free.
(I use a belt bag when in concerts).
Definitely it will have to be flats. Comfortable blingy shiny sparkly flat sandals (you know me...) to last me 20 hours.
Since it's given that I shall be flaunting my black LifeDance shirt, ahihihihi...I went BLING shopping.
I was thinking silver...All silver wares are from Forever21 (ehem, they were on sale).
I've got to have a color. Bright one! It's hot pink for the night. I couldn't resist newly acquired teal beads and crystals so I'll throw it in too.

See you all on Saturday!
Gates open at 1pm at the Boardwalk.
Do check out their Facebook page here for more details.

It's more fun at LifeDance 2012 !!!

It's the time of the year when Cebu showcases own products all of them awesome! From food to furniture and trinkets in between you wouldn't know where to start...
Yesterday I took the whole household for some shopping at CICC (Cebu International Convention Center) at the North Reclamation Area.
The place was jammed pack!
It can be seen that there are more exhibitors this year. Dancers and performers in their colorful costumes. Beautiful muses! The place was just buzzing!
We were happy campers. Let me share some of our loot:

You know the kids and their love for head pieces... Little kiddo got this really big pink bow with feathers. I saw some really pretty hats. I mean, really really pretty. Yes, I just might go back there, exhibit is until August 15, this Monday...

Cute colorful wooden watch (P150), very affordable really.

Can you say disco?
Swiped these really cool bracelets, there were several other colors, I got the green and brown.

Very stylish indeed. Reminds me so much of my mom's old crystal choker...
These will definitely go with just about anything for work and play. For coffeeshop visits. hahaha. Yep, I got my share of stares last night at Starbucks (ehem, the bracelets did actually)
I'm thinking of the leather ones I didnt buy yesterday. Hmmm...I believe I'm going there in a bit...

You can still beat me up to it though...hahahaha.
Bye y'all! I am going back!

And off we goooooooooo!!!
Right after our Disney day we took the ferry to Macau.
Gotta hand it to my ignorance but I think it served me well. Coz I went head on to them places I've never heard or read of with eyes wide open and heart rejoicing!
HAHAHAHAHA
I never knew Macau was already bordering Guandong province and that it faces the South China Sea. That info really blew me away. I was in fact going into ANOTHER COUNTRY!!!
On this trip, my 6 and 3 year old girls are going to TWO countries!!!
Yepeeeeeey for them! HAHAHAHAHA! I simply love it!
We were unfamiliar with the way to the ferry terminal so it was kinda run run run for us. We even opted to buy tickets from a travel agency coz the line on the usual ticket office was long long long!
(Turned out we got cheaper rates.)
By 12noon we were on our way to Macau!!!

Lucky number 8!!!
(I always take the window seat. I have issues with motion.)
And I always listen to safety measures demonstrations. Always.

Good thing Pamie is the smart one. She got our itinerary all planned out. And we're very glad she did that.
I honestly thought going to Macau only meant The Venetian Hotel. Like, ok, I wasnt gonna be shopping there really, so...why spend the whole day?
BECAUSE...
We went to Senado Square!!! The old Macau streets! IT WAS WONDERFUL!
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!
They couldnt help but inject them modern times shops in there but some shops they have maintained the remnants of history. Love the brick roads!!!

Dont you just love them sisters!
And of course I got my bracelet...
(Will take a better picture of my 3 new bracelets for another entry...)
