But this place you gotta love!!!
It's an old staple in our area, Lahug. Been there for as long as I can remember. They still have their old supermarket. We do not frequent the place but when we do, it is always a warm fuzzy feeling. There is a security guard manning the entrance/exit. He greets a very sincere and pleasant 'Good morning/afternoon/evening' in the most cheerful sing-song voice. With a smile that literally lights up his face. Several times I have brought the kids with me and each time he would separately greet Alyssa and Ava and ask them how they were. Alyssa was in uniform, he would ask how her day in school was or if did she had a great day of learning in school that day. One would think this is just another PR trained security personnel, but no, he obviously is a very beautiful person in his heart by nature. He greets each and everyone coming in and out of the supermarket as enthusiastically! Pressing? Oh no, no. He is the happiest person I have ever met. Happy with his work. Happy with the people he meets. Finally yesterday I hovered around him pretending to check out the merchandises on display just to get his name tag. ALCARAZ MM... I could not remember the security agency clearly but I think it said GSISA.
Gracious happy man.
I thank the BOSS above for giving me the chance to witness such happiness and contentment.
If you do happen to be in this place, you are sure to meet Mr. Alcaraz. He is sure to put a smile on your face and your heart.
