Nida picked Alyssa and me for dinner last night. It was going to be a special one. Pamie was meeting us in Ayala but on the way, we changed our minds and parked in nearby THE WALK , I.T. Park instead. Yippeeee!!! Nida didnt know what she wanted for dinner and hurray for me, there was nobody else to veto my suggestion! Of course I gotta have one big delicious plate of baby back ribs. And you could only get that one in THIS place!
For some reason, we didnt order the baby back ribs. Ordered a steak with pasta instead. Pamie was running late. So were our orders. We didnt seem to mind that much though coz we were having fun talking. When dinner did arrive, their steak slices have become noticeably small. But it's okay. Hehehe, our bad. Guess we should have gone for the baby back ribs as originally planned afterall. Pamie was definitely running late. Later than our 20-minute-something late order. Hehehehe. But no big. We are afterall the most gracious customers.
Apparently, not the younger customers who came noisily in occupying the 2 long tables beside us. Boo hoo for Pamie came late and had to eat her more late order/dinner with the even noisier younger crowd beside us. As in they were practically shouting to one another. No big, they were just probably excited about something. Their being 20-somethings. HAHAHAHA
What was NOT amusing however was how they mananged to easily convince the waiter to put the volume up of the music which made the small place more nauseating than it already was (for me anyway). MORE NOT amusing was how the waiter did put up the volume without much regards to the other paying cutomers who probably preferred the previous level of decibels of the damn music.
Ohhhh but did we complain? No we didnt. We were better trained than to do that.
We just asked for the bill. But then the music and the chatter got louder and noisier. So as I signalled for our bill, the waiter was probably dumbed up with all the useless noise that he didnt even understand my ever so popular hand signal for the check. He leaned towards me to ask what I was asking for. I said (medium voice) : "Could we now have our bill please. And put the volume down for godsakes."
Mind you, I said that in our local dialect, visayan. And I assure you, the way we speak it, it's not so nice to hear: "Amo bill palihug. Ug pahinayi kono ng inyo saba nga music diha."
Plus I kinda said that with a little bit of grimace on my pretty face.
HAHAHAHAHA.
Unfortunately they do not have any feedback form.
They probably dont care.
They are afterall the most popular in that area. In any area they have a branch actually.
Seriously, I love the resto. Delicious food, really. I just probably dont like this particular branch.
The steak we ordered wasnt really that good.
