The main point-of-sale last weekend's trip was... the place has got to be cold.

Near enough.

A place we could stay for free (courtesy of a close friend who lives in Tung Chung--- couldn't get any more convenient than that!)

And have lots of friends.

So Hong Kong it was!

As the travelling date came nearer I had been monitoring HK's weather forecast. 5-16 degreesC.

Whoa...that is cold. I'd love that!!!

What's more, it was about a few weeks from the Chinese Lunar New Year and Valentine's was just right around the corner. It was splendid! Perfect timing actually!

And it was COLD!!!

We stood a good 15 minutes in front of this building just to take photos of the weather forecast...

It said 14 deg. C...but it dipped down coz of the wind factor.

And the 15 deg. C forecast became 9 deg. C coz it rained.

Really really cold for me. And we just loved every freezing second!!!

Let me show you one of our mission there...

Yes, Toys 'R' Us was on top of the list.

Hubby:"The rabbit's name is JILL?"

Me:"hahaha...no, the rabbit is WEARING Jill Stuart."

And we finally found a purple Zhu Zhu pet.

What's left here in the Philippines are either white, grey or black.

It is, ehem, was, delicious!!!

All little girl asked for was a Kai-lan cake. But it has to be the moist choco cake of tita Sharon.

Sharon made the pink princess cake of little sis a few days ago. Totally different personalities my kiddos have. Totally different cake. I was holding myself back not to poke my finger into the sweet smelling icing as I carried her majesty deliciousness to my little girl's school for her party.

The smell alone could take you to heaven!!! I kid not, no sir-ree!

So these little pet hamsters...

Well hello there...

Lack of posts the past days due to Christmas frenzy folks. I'm pretty sure you're doing your share of the season too. hehehe

Been editing some few photos.

Kids go about their business too around me and my computer. We're still near each other and the bond is still there as I look over their play and we all smile to one another.

And Mr. Winky, one of the Zuzhu Pets made it to my computer table! Courtesy of Alyssa, hehe.

Mr. Winky's her fave pet. Well, it's a toy. Which makes hamster sounds and moves around with a switch. I kinda noticed there was something black but had to laugh when I suddenly took focus and realized I was staring right straight into the eyes of Mr. Winky!

Kids don't know it yet but I got them another Zuzhu Pet. It's in the storage room along with other hidden Christmas gifts. hehehe...
