Please excuse my long absence friends. Had been crazy days. Happy crazy don't worry. hehee Last Saturday was just one of them happy crazy days.
The annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. My first time to participate and I just didnt really know what to do. hahaha
Towards the end of the walk, we found this...
Who would have thought?
What is between Zulueta and Binangkayan Sts in Pari-an, Cebu? It's an old house. Built in 1730. The Jesuit House of Cebu. The Jesuits resided in this house until they were expelled from the Philippines in 1768. A wealthy landowner and rancher from Bohol, Don Jose Alvarez bought the residence during the late 19th century. Thereafter it became an exclusive club for Cebu's elite during the 1950's when it was leased by Gov. Sergio Osmena, Jr. This is perhaps the oldest dated house in the country today. And it is just in our neighborhood.

Our guide. Showing us the illustration from the book published in 1836 by Fr. William Repetti, S.J. seismologist and archivist of the Jesuits. It shows a tower beside the house, perhaps to ward away seafaring raiders.

Chinese influences seen on the roofs and support beams.

Seal of the Jesuits.

Normally, you really wouldn't find me going thru doors like this one. But Saturday was definitely an exception. Just because I saw these from outside:

Focal 7 photographers

Original wood of the house.

Yes indeed!!!
MADAME TUSSAUD's Wax Museum up at Victoria's Peak. They call it The Peak now.
Wouldn't have missed this for the world. Heard so much about it.
Yey!!!
Meet lots of people there...

As you can see...these are the figures that I admire most in this world...

And of course him. The one and only Mick Jagger!
Same shade of nail polish!
And If I hadn't had my hair treated a month ago, our hairstyles would unmistakably be identical!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
