Cebu Photo Works, is a local organizer of the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation Inc. (FPPF) workshops in Cebu. As in any craft we embark on and intend to master, we need to get into the nitty gritty basics. With CPW, your love for photography, basics or advanced, surely is in the greatest of hands!

CPW 14 will be held on January 6-8 , 2012 at the newly opened Studio B.

Lookey! Even the lecturer got into the coolness, hehehe. That's him, Germani. Can you spot mine? This was the 2nd day...

Yessss...there in fact was ..."No Other Woman".

As our president, Icky, eloquently put it:

"Creativity can be displayed in so many ways...however, there are truths, half truths and sometimes just figments of imagination eventually manifested..."

(I'm guessing he is referring to my cup...ahahahaha!)

You know us, we get into sort of stuff. The fun stuff, that is. Saturday morning stress levels were up as our Islands Banca Sunset Cruise was scheduled to sail at 5.30 in the afternoon. By 1pm, rain was pouring at Mactan. But lady luck was on our side as the skies opened to a little ray of sunshine by 4pm.

Yep Focal 7 trooped to Cebu Yacht Club for the much needed chillin'.

Cruised along the Mactan Channel under the two bridges. It was a beautiful sight. Something that I've always taken for granted. Finally took some few minutes to just stand there, be quiet and savor the night view of Mactan. Didnt even mind the the rain drops on my face.

For Php 295, we got one round of ice tea, our own orange towel and some peanuts. It was a cool 1 1/2 boat ride...

(I had my camera to the minimal, 50mm lens and no battery grip, but didnt even take it out of my bag. There was no need to, everyone else brought along their cameras...hehehe.)

Built during the 17th century by Chinese merchants the Yap-San Diego Ancestral House is located at Lopez Jaena corner Mabini St. in the heart of Pari-an, Cebu City. This house is considered to be one of the oldest in the city. Originally owned by Don Juan Yap and his wife, Dona Maria Florido. Their oldest daughter, Maria Florido Yap, married Don Mariano San Diego ( native of Obando, Bulacan) in the 1880's. This house is presently in the custody of renowned artist and choreographer, Val San Diego, who has vowed never to sell the house in his lifetime (and that of his children and grandchildren).
