It might also be because I first saw the sign looking like this (there are signs in the more recognizable diamond shape). With this alone, the meaning of PED XING totally escaped me. First saw it in a province of Thailand. Hmmm with all the monks walking around it must mean a mosque or temple or chapel...or something. Of Asian culture. Why not?
Saw another one in Bangkok. See, it's a temple.
Saw another one in Hong Kong. Singapore.
The temple must be popular one among the Asians, I figured.

Then I see it on the road at TACLOBAN CITY!!! It was a long road. I thought quietly, finally I'd get to see what the temple/mosque/chapel of PED XING looks like.
"Ped Xing", I said softly.
"Pedestrian crossing", my friend, Pamie (yep, her, who was with us in Hong Kong) said as softly.
"What?", me.
"Pedestrian crossing. PED XING", Pamie.

DANG!
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Something I learned and bought in Singapore.
I'm not really known to be big on make up, especially eye make-up. It's too complicated for me.
But MAC I made an exception. I fell in love with its 2010 Chill collection the Penultimate! The young lady testing it went for the green. I decided to go more conservative and got the black. It's Halloween afterall, time to be crazy...enough...hehehe.
The lady was doing her eyes heavy. Really heavy. And she looked cool. I wasnt too sure if I could get away with it so I went lighter...but still thicker than what I'm usually used to.

And I believe I love it!!!
(Halloween dinner. I had a poll. The Marni blouse won. So I wore the Marni grey.)

Aaaaaannnd IM BACK!!!
...remember I was going on a trip? Yep, finally happened and Im back. 24 hours in Singapore. Yes 24.
Why? Just for the heck of it. hehehe
Well...sorta.
Joel left for Malaysia for a shooting competition 4 days prior. So I was going Thursday midnight, go around the city on Friday and meet him at the airport to catch our midnight flight back to Cebu. Crazy wasnt it? hehehe. It was COOL crazy!!!
I was too nervous. It was my first time to travel alone abroad. Too nervous that I even had a healthy glass of juice at the airport instead of coffee! hahahaha

With my passport and magazines I spent some lonely 3 hours at the NAIA waiting for my flight to Singapore...

Finally...arrived in Singapore at midnight. My friend, Gigi was waiting for me at the gates. And the 24 hours countdown began...
Went straight to her place to get some shut eye.

GOOD MORNING SINGAPORE!!!

And there's my backpack. Yep I crammed everything into this baby including my camera and lens.

My view beyond my feet.

Joel and I texted only once during the day to inform each other that we were on our way to the airport.
So this is who I was meeting at the airport. hehehe

So that was how I spent my 24 hours in Singapore. Arriving at midnight and flying out at midnight the same day.
