Yey!!! An authentic Chinese breakfast!!!
The day before we went to Macau, Guada flew in from London and that morning we were to leave for Macau, she treated us to a very sumptuous authentic Chinese chow!!!
It was glorious!!!
What I love about Tung Chung in Lantau is that they have made everything easy breezy. You can walk around in blindfolds and still do what you have to do in a snap.
Ok, that's a bizarre exaggeration considering the bus and taxi stops are just below the driveway of our condominium. HAHAHAHAHA...blindfold would be scary. But you get the point.
In one stretch you get to do your grocery, breakfast, medical needs, banking, etc...
And halleluah! A Chinese restaurant!!!
By the time we got there around 9am the place was full packed. Everyone goes out for breakfast in the area. They stay and play mahjong on some tables, some read the newspapers and such till it's time to order lunch.

That's Pamie. Doing the mandatory washing of the utensils, chopsticks and everything. 15 years ago Joel and I noticed they hand you glasses with their fingers on the rim. That kinda freaked us out. But lo and behold, here goes the ritual!
It was cool when Guada showed it to us. That big bowl should be filled with the water provided for. Gracefully, yes, gracefully, wash each glass, small bowl and chopsticks in it by putting them on their side and twirling them so each part touches the water. Kinda cool actually. It makes a very interesting yet simple ritual. So that's Pamie's hand. Although she also wanted to show off her new evil eye bracelet we got from The Peak. HAHAHAHA!
We spied an elderly man washing everything on his table with his wife reading the daily. Now that's what I mean by graceful!!! He was systematic!

The Menu coordinated with my nail polish no?

We were full!!! The food was A-delish!!!

And of course much to the surprise (and joy) of Alyssa we saw them dispensers just outside the resto.

And off to Macau we go!!!
