I usually hate it when I start the first sentence of this blog with the word 'hate' on the third place. Hehehehe. Been a week since my last entry and I had to start this way. Oh well... been a very busy week for us. Lots of life stuff. hehehe

So, what's wrong with the picture?
I have blocked out infos which need not be involved.
We had our picture taken. 3 shots. All there on the card. As I usually do, I asked how and where should we place ourselves in front of the camera/machine. 2 people directed us. I figured it would have to be a very tight shot. Fine, smile. CLICK!!! Yepeeeeeey finally a family pic for us!
I happily trotted off back to our tent with the picture card in my hand. Joel asked to look. Ava was sitting on his lap. Suddenly she pointed to the 3rd photo, "Where's ME, daddy?"
OOOOPPPPSSSSS!!! Joel was dumbfounded when he saw that Ava had been covered by a label design. Ooppsie!!! Poor little one. Her face was clearly confused. All she kept saying was, "Where's my face? Where's my face?"
Joel went back to the booth to inform the crew about it. So let's not call it boohoo...but then again....
You all know Joel, he's the most patient and gentle guy in this planet. heheh, seriously. He just wanted a little bit of consideration. A re-shot perhaps? Oh well, it was for "fun raising", as he was bluntly informed. The tone used took Joel aback. That was totally unnecessary. Because afterall, his motto is, "everything is negotiable" --- including him. Perhaps maybe they could just have been more gentle with their response. What is P100 for another family pic? He would have gladly paid again. What kinda pissed me off was...I knew placing us would be tricky. What I didnt know was there was going to be a label/border that would cut the 3rd photo on that side.
AND THEY KNEW THAT COZ THEY MADE THE LABEL/BORDER THEMSELVES FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!!

Ehem...(breath, compose...)

They knew better than us. They could have thought about that. For the last photo, they could anticipated the label/border and transfer Ava to another place, like, how about above Alyssa? It would have been a breeze to carry Ava. But no. Apparently it was our fault. Apparently we felt that Ava's face being covered with the label is alright and that complaining would be too "killjoy" on our part. Fun raiser, sure, we understand. Now let our 2-year-old understand why on this earth do you not know your own product, label, border, why you failed to anticipate this and why her face is not in the picture. You covered a smart 2-year-old girl's face. It is distressing. A re-shoot would have been the easiest thing to do. But no, you told us on our faces that we have to be patient about it coz it's a fund raising. We did not ask for a free re-shoot. You could have suggested it. Not brush us off like that.
I went to your MULTIPLY account. Now you go to MINE.
Geezzz... is it all going to be just fun-raising? Where's the heart?
