3 things on our table. It was family time. We should be finishing up our Christmas shopping though coz it is the last weekend before Christmas afterall. But we decided to go on a no-frenzy trip to the mall that night. We wanted to take in the sights. Concentrate on where the kids want to go, look and touch. It was all about them. As always toward the end of every trip we sit down for coffee. In this one I usually do not order anything to eat. I do my eating at another shop. I just want the coffee. But Joel ordered something new on the menu. And it was DELICIOUS!!! Sort of a cheesy pie with squares of ham inside. It was the coolest cheesy stuff on earth! hahaha!
The pink case? That's my Christmas gift from my mother! yep, it is what it is. Cool ha?
While just looking around and about I spotted over Joel's shoulder 3 friends having a chit-chat. Probably friends who have not seen one another for a long time and met up for coffee. They were laughing and talking. Then they did this ceremoniously big cheers with their cups of coffee. It made me smile. In the midst of the frenzy of Christmas shopping, there are this 3 people who are relaxing, heartily laughing and clearly just enjoying the spirit of it all in the company of good friends.
