I love vintage. Especially when I've inherited it (in a way. hehe)

It's my mother's bag. Yes, she's a bag and shoe lady since. Although she is not much of a keeper. She loves giving her stuff away. I once remember when I was 7 years old she used to have this big big shelf full of those beautiful delicate perfume bottles shaped like human figurines. Yep, she gave them all away. hehehe

So with some of her stuff I made sure I asked for them...for safekeeping of sorts.

Her bag. It's a gift from my father...45 years ago!!!

I'm guessing it's one of those imported bags. Our folks were fond of those. As you can see it needs a bit of a retouch. I'm still on a hunt for someone to do that for me.

Needs cleaning up. But isn't it gorgeous?

Another bag is this unique black and white weave number!!! It's 43 years old. Still in very good condition. But I'm always afraid to use it, looks so delicate. It's of hard material. More like a purse. I will use this soon, if I could find the right cloths to showcase such a beauty of a bag!

It could fit 2 cellphones, an ipod, wallet and small camera. Perfect for this season's parties!

And for those who might have noticed my old looking watch...well, yes it is old. Approximately 35 to 40 years old. My mother's own Omega silver watch. It still works flawlessly. Papa has since gifted mom with a more modern watch so I swiped this from her wrist. Once again, for safekeeping. Ehem...hahahahaha! I love the watch!!! I've googled it and this silver Geneve series could fetch up to U.S.$ 400.

Did you ever have one of those days? Well, I've had worst actually. But today was total hilarious! I was playing with the girls while checking my emails. Ava gave me her sweet kinda reddish heart-shaped Dora the Explorer wristwatch to put on her arm. Then off she went to play again. On my hand was a list of errands for the afternoon. I figured I'd do the grocery last. That's what's nearest to our house anyway. Bills to pay, people to meet, stuff to buy. Then the groceries. By 5.30pm I was back home. Whew that was a breeze. I could hear the girls laughing upstairs and by the sound of it Im guessing they're watching the home movie I edited yesterday for them. I'll go up in a minute. Just wanna get my wind back and sit in the living room. I was too tired to crank my neck to look at the wall clock by the computer table. Too relaxed in my chair now. It'll be dinner soon. I could hear the girls really cracking up watching themselves on the home movie. It would be great to watch it with them. I started to stand up and took a look at my watch. On my wrist. My watch that I had been wearing since leaving the house after lunch. When I went to a payment center, held out my arm to give the payment, get the receipt...when I met a mom of Alyssa's classmate at a mall, held out my arm to give her my card, when I touched a friend Ive not seen for a long time. The watch I had been wearing this afternoon when I held my arm up to cover my mouth while laughing so hard with my friend. When I had to hold my arm across my body while window shopping at an expensive shop just to keep the strap of my bag from falling off my shoulder. When I took my sweet time at the grocery, waited while paying at the counter with 5 more people lining up behind me.

Awwww...in fairness it looks so cute, it went with the whole ensemble actually. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
