Green

Off-white

Dark fuschia.

Guilty!
Guilty Me Collection, guilty me I got 3 pairs. I just love them! Comfortable, cool, easy. You know I love online shopping. Yesterday was no different. Found these beauties in a shop in Bacolod. Took just a day to have them shipped to Cebu. Very very affordable too!
Feels like those really expensive pair you see going around. It's not every time I go to meetings or errands on flats but as of late, I've been finding myself favoring them...
Loved how they made my black slacks more relaxed.

Yes I wore the 3 pairs today...

Thank you Honey!!!

You can email me friends I could direct you to the link...

There's a cool story of my bracelet. Crystals once again. Have I mentioned I love crystals anything?
During our school supplies buying spree at the mall I passed by the accessory section and this bracelet caught my eye. Hmm... P150. ( US $ 4.00). Not bad. You know, just for kicks. Did a quick detour to the counter to pay for my find. I stood spaced out in line pretty excited about what school shoes to buy for the kids. I had the exact amount of Php 150 on hand. Sales staff got the bracelet, punched the register and said, "50 pesos ma'am".
"What?"
"Ha? Waaiit...", the sales staff did some punching again, totally surprised as I was.
"Yes ma'am, that's 50 pesos", she finally says.

I didn't believe her. I asked for her to check with a supervisor. Someone did come and confirmed the price was 50pesos.
Oh.
I had a big smile on my face. The sales staff had to laugh. But I actually thought of leaving the Php 100 I already had in my hand just in case the supervisor was mistaken. I mean, poor girl if the price was actually Php150...
But they insisted it was just '50 pesos ma'am'. Good for me then!

So here I am with my 50 peso crystal bracelet. Finally had the chance to wear it to a meeting this morning. Lo and behold it matches my Pabher shoes! Ahihihi cool ha?

(little girly declared a break for a kissy...)

Hours before the year 2011 knocks on our doors.
Are you ready?
Ehem, shoe-wise that is...
Well, I know what pair I'm gonna be wearing to tonight's big bang party!
Yepeeeeyyyy!!!
It's here! It's here!
I didn't expect it to come THIS year considering the holiday frenzy on the post and all but SHE's HERE!!!
Don't you just love?
TILLER...

A fabulous wedge bootie...taupe, thank you very much!
I should also say, Thanks Nicole!!!
That was quick!
It is beautiful on the feet...fabulous!

I believe I will be strutting on the streets tonight on my 4-inch platform heels. Stacked, mind you.

I'm wearing it with my fave pair of jeans but these beautiful pair shall be sashaying on higher grounds with my long ivory gown come January...it would be perfect!!!

A HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE indeed!

Go go go to FivebyFive on both Multiply and Facebook.
You can feast on more there. I am pretty sure you will find your perfect match...matches. hehehe...or should I say, HO-HO-HO!

Will be taking more photos of the Tiller with my ivory gown soon, on site. Next week. Too stoked.

Thank YOU Boss!
Way too cool.

Reminders. Many of them. Coz I am so sure I will forget most of them.
We are actually already packed. Well, I just didn't unpack from our trip two weeks ago, actually.
HAHAHAHA
The notes are the help. For them to remind me. Check our bags. My mind would be too muggled this coming days. Starting today.
A documentary assignment this Friday until 7pm. An trip to the beach on Saturday up North. Which doesn't leave me much room for editing in between but I'll do it.

Packing for the first trip would actually be a no-brainer. What do you need at the beach but some trusty flip-flops, towels and sunblock. It'll be very fun! My daughters would be ecstatic to go to the beach and stay overnight. It's not that often we get to do that.

Two trips, one day apart.
But then again, we're already packed. Just some change of shoes. And some additional adaptors for the electrical plugs. hehehe
7 days till Hong Kong.
Yep you might say still a long way to go. Not really, technically. Lots of stuff on my plate right now. Millions to attend to.
And Im afraid we're not gonna be getting our flu shots before we fly coz the vaccines are not available yet.
At least we've got our vacation manicures on.
HAHAHAHAHA

I can't decide. The walking shoes or the sandals. The sandals are too casual for dinners at trendy restaurants. You'll never know. But then again, it could be my "slippers" already. So I'm taking both.
All packed and itching to go!!!

Thank You Boss for the blessings.

Oh well, just because you're sipping champagne and feeding yourself with the most delicious cocktail menu Ive ever tasted doesn't mean the strap of your new silver pair of stilettos will not snap! hehehehe.

I remained seated the whole time.

There is just no other way to tell the story but to somehow reveal certain "things" we used to do when we were...er...ehem, "younger".
You're not seeing double. Nor did I make the mistake of using the same pictures from an earlier entry.
Remember we went to this yogurt everything place one Friday night, after dinner. On the table right next to ours was a classmate of mine from college.
I was with Pamie, my classmate from elementary years.
My friend, Shane, was with a girlfriend too, her classmate from college.
So...I guess this is how our Friday nights are nowadays? Be with our lifelong friends? Flashback 6-7 years ago we were with bigger groups, sometimes with people we've just met that night.

Friday nights, we used to go out at 10pm. Now, we GO HOME at 10pm.
Friday nights, we'd be in our newly acquired stilletos (which we bought just to wear for the weekend). Now, we'd rather be in our walking shoes or in her case, flipflops.

Friday nights, Shane and I used to wave and scream at each other from across the room in a music-filled hottest bar in town when one of us come thru the door. Now we say our more decent 'hellos' so softly you'd think we'd break the glass doors if we'd go a decibel higher. In a yogurt place.
Friday nights, Shane and I would be bumping at each other with one of us (or both)...ehem, "having a bit too much already" by 2am. Now, we'd be asleep by then. Or watching a movie at home.

And so it has come to pass.
We all ended up laughing!

YAY!!! S-A-L-E!!!
HAHAHAHAHAH!
How else could I afford something...
But I need a comfy shoes. It's made for marine escapades but I love its comfort and fit. And style, definitely.
I have seen the brand in Ebay and only after that did I dare go into their shop at SM North. I always just pass it by coz it looks expensive from outside. It is expensive. But these babies went ON SALE at 50% OFF!!!

And Pamie?
She's the rich one. She doesn't need to wait for stuff to go on sale, although she does wait for those occasions. hehehe
Her pair wasn't on sale but I didn't make her resist.

After the impromptu shoe shopping we decided to check out the latest craze in town. An everything yogurt place along Banilad road. We are on a diet, by the way, ehem.
The place is cute. Everything yogurt. With a bit of 'conflicting' message. On the wall to the right is a display freezer full of unhealthy sodas and softdrinks.
Ahhhh, the irony...
Different strokes for different folks. I could take that.

I got this delicious cup of vanila yogurt with mandarin oranges, banana slices and chunks of cheese!!! I love it!!!
The cheese made all the difference.

Joel and Pamie always have this 'after-dessert-let's-go-for-another-dish' type of conversation everytime we eat out. Everytime.
And I always put the final push on it.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
So we got this crepe...a big one.
Maybe it works for most, but maybe we'll pass on it the next time.
Yogurt and crepe, they don't mix.
For us anyway.
But overall, the place is rockin'!
