A happy new year to my friends all over the world!
Last night was a noisy one, although not as quite as the past years, just as well, it only means there were less firecrackers. hehehe
Photos taken by my ipod touch 4th gen (yep, I switched and gave myself a Christmas gift, hehe).
An afternoon of joy riding and relaxing at the mall.
Low pressure once again detected around the country, thus the windy and rainy afternoon.
We decided to get ice cream and cold coffee! hahahaha, yep that's how we roll...

Hubby was on holiday from work. It was not so easy for him to be relaxing. He couldnt imagine a day without clients, deadlines and no work at all! hahahaha

Oh yes, as usual, the little miss danced about our table with the wind. She loved it! She had her hood on. Not much people at the mall, except in the supermarkets.

By dinnertime we decided we'd do pizza and pasta. Delicious!!! When in Cebu you should check out Michaelangelo's (pizzeria) in Banilad. Great food, great ambiance. (free wifi, hahaha).
We decided to stay in during the new year's day revelry. It was cool to be lazy on our butts, watching every mall's and every hotel's fireworks from our windows. (We're lucky to have a place on a corner, thus the two sides of windows, works for my photography as well).

Let me share with you one of my mom's gift for me this Christmas! A white Wayfarer! Isn't it the coolest? hahaha, thanks mom!

Hope you all had a safe and fun night!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!

Year of the Water Dragon... let's do this right!

Oooohhhh isn't it F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!
Saw from one of my fave blog The Bag Hag Diaries totally cool iPhone cases. Not just any iPhone cases mind you...CATH KIDSTON!!!
But alas, I don't have an iPhone and I don't think I'm getting one any time soon coz I just got the Blackberry. But I have my most beloved iPod iTouch. My perfect companion. So I figured they must have an iTouch case!!! And indeed they do! HOW TO GET ONE?! HOW TO GET ONE?!

I am loving my future polka dots. Ahihihi...wishy wishy Santa Claus...
And here's for one for your inner English soul...

Pricey, juicy...worth it. hahahaha.

Dear Santa...

It all started 6 days ago while going on errands. In my part of the country days had been hot hot hot. But nights are way cold. Had to endure the sun to get my errands done. And they all called for me to take 2 to 3 jeepney rides just to get from point A to point B. You know, the traffic system. In one stroke of genius I decided to walk one particular route. I wasn't dressed appropriately for that, mind you, but I did walk. Good thing I had a bottle of water with me. Took me 30 minutes. Saved me from 3 dizzying rides on the jeepney and 80 pesos worth of cab ride!!! And my lungs felt fine. Brisk walking. I used to brisk/fitness walk while I was pregnant. And there!!! After all those brainstorming moments of what form of exercise to use (I originally wanted to go back to swimming, good for the lungs) I discovered fitness walking again!!!
Yessiree armed with 115 songs in my ipod, rubber shoes, hat and water, I'M OFF!!!

But when to do it? One criteria I had always been failing at in choosing the any exercise was the length of time it was going to take me away from my kids. When your kids go to school, you would want to spend the time they are home with them. And another light bulb moment commenced! HAHAHAHA!

I will WALK all the way from the house to the school!!!
YES!!!

I had been at it for 4 days now and I feel GOOD! I have not been one to do running coz it makes my brain go up and down. Really. HAHAHAHA...
So my dear friends, here's another way to fitness: WALKING.
The route is easy, has uphill and downhill sections, have sidewalks all the way and very public!
Perfect!!!
So if you see me walking briskly past you with the black sling bag and white cap, say HI!!! hehehe

Thank You, Boss.

YEY!!!
Just a short update of my gadget dilemma a month back.
Finally got the iTouch to sync with iTunes.
I actually forgot all about it. Haven't tried to sync since, I figured after 3 tries it's not gonna miraculously work in a snap of a finger.
But yesterday, it did. Not by some miracle. hahahahaha
Ok, it was a no-brainer. It was only yesterday that I actually looked what version I had, I knew it was the latest but what. No problem there...
So why haven't iTunes been able to detect my latest version?
Because it was only yesterday that a pop up told me there's an iTunes 9.1.0...
So there you go!
HAHAHAHAHA
Crazy ha?

Well hello there...small loud speaker you. hehehehe
I've been on the prowl for the perfect mini speaker for my iTouch and chanced upon this classic beauty. My budget has ran from a mere P250 to P800. I kept comparing every one I could get my hands on. Finally I decided to go for the sure thing. I cost me more but I believe I got what I needed.
The X-Mini 2nd generation speakers. As it says in the box, it is unbelievably loud. Perfect! I didn't think twice when I saw this online. Ran out to the nearest Gizmo shop. Yeah I had the feeling they carry the little beauty.
The X-Mini 2nd gen! Recipient of the Infocomm Singapore Awards in 2008. Could it get better than that?
Indeed!!! The sound is clear as it now carries a larger 40mm driver. Its playback time is more than 10 hours! It's retractable 3.5mm audio cable makes it super convenient.

And hey! It expands!!! Expanded BXS (Bass Xpansion System) for a richer low end response. Cool ha? I can keep it in transit in it's black little pouch.
This one cool baby comes with the 'Buddy Jack'. I can get more of these beauties and connect them all for a big boom. Or I could get together with other X-mini II owners for a party!!! hahahaha
Isn't it delicious!

How far and how should you trust your husband? hehehe.
Seriously.
The past years I have heard Joel say,"You could sell that for a good price."
Great!
Not. Especially when the subject of the idea is a newly acquired gadget or what have I.
Attachment issues. Well, more like...I earn whatever I get. Yep, Im talking about money. So why would I wanna sell?
But 2 days ago, Joel spied my ipod. "That would sell for a good price. Why don't you try."
There goes the dreaded suggestion. HAHAHAHA. Give up my music? It's my baby!!!But experiences the past years have taught me one important thing. When Joel says go, I go. He doesn't say go for nothing actually. He thinks things over. Thoroughly. Over and over and over. It would really feel like he's taking forever over one thing. But when he has reached a decision, you can be sure that goes deeper than it seems.
Without batting an eyelash I spread the word around. (Didn't even hold my breath.)

In less than 24 hours, my beloved ipod gets sold and found a new home.
Joel replaces it with this:

Told you I trust him.
Told you it goes deep.
hehehe.

Thanks BOSS.
Totally cool!!!
