Last week in the midst of the happy frenzy at work, play and family, I got to meet a new cousin-in-law, her mom, her 2 little kids for the first time and a cousin after 30 long years. They were on vacation in the Philippines for a week.
Let me share with you some photos I took...
(Baby Annie with grandma Janet)

Gorgeous nieces!!!

Thank You Boss!
Thank You for family and love.
Give them a safe trip home.

No kidding. I really went up there. First off, when I first saw this massive thingy, I said, "Nope, never gonna do that."
But what a waste it would have been if I just passed the chance to do it when we finally spent almost the whole day in the resort. So I did. I wanted to do the open air tunnel, the beige. But it only allowed people up to 50kilos. I had to take the next best thing. The red and white tunnel. Took me quite awhile to feel the whole thing. A closed tunnel that goes "nowhere". A big bowl to spit me up. Sure, why not? HAHAHAHAHA. I listened intently to the instructions of the crew. No sense dying on this one!~
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Scary, for me.
Claustrophobia much?
Several tweets of the crew on his whistle and I was good to go!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Could I twist any further? Much as I wanted to "control" my swaying, I didnt dare do anything unusual inside that tunnel. I swayed from side to side of that small reddish dark tunnel. I didnt know how long I stayed in there. I didnt even realize I was already out until I noticed I was seeing sunshine and I was spinning on a big bowl with ta hole in the middle. I did three spins. That got me a bit dizzy. I could see the hole when I arched my neck to the side. I tipped a bit. My head was going first! I didnt want that so I slowly moved my legs into the hole. I was really dizzy now...

That's Joel! He took the plunge in the green tunnel. Said there were white stripes inside. Made him feel like the RUNNING MAN (old movie).

And there I go!!!
Joel snapped this pic as my head came out of the bowl.
Now I know how it feels to be flushed in the toi---. Seriously. I thought, " I should be paid to do this."
HARAHARHARHAR
But given the chance, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Me with Alyssa. Me, still dizzy with water in my ears and ringing in my head. HAHAHAHAHA!
It was SO COOL!!!

A post birthday celebration. Thursday. Alyssa was done with her exams. We were just gonna be lazying it up at the house. That was my plan. Apparently, Joel had some other plans. Told me we were going to the beach. Yipeeeeeeeeee!!! The kids are going to be so so so happy!
And surprise surprise!!!
It's gonna be on a new resort!
It's awesomeness, the Imperial Palace.
We had the whole afternoon playing, frolicking, shouting, swimming and just plain having fun!!!

The place is so cool! Absent are the hoity toity stuff who obviously reads you up and down by the cloths you have on. Or the bag you have in your arm, before deciding whether to be genuinely nice to you or put on their plastered P.R. smiles.
Swimming pools much! They have this Waterpark which I will be showing in the next entry.
A wave pool. It's built like a shoreline with white sands and waves coming in. Although even without the waves machine turned on, there are currents which will leisurely push your lifesaver around an "island" then takes you back to the "shore". The waves have started which made everyone in the pool ecstatic. Everyone has gotten their own lifesavers and one by one have started drifting away from the shore. I have noticed that these complete strangers have started to hold unto one another, thus making a big congga line of lifesavers!!! That was hilarious. They were laughing and screaming! We wanted to join them but we werent shore if our girls were up to it. So I decided to get my camera and wait for them by the bridge. The photo above I took as they were coming into the shore. Aren't they cool?!!! Complete strangers to one another, take note. And look at them! Makes me wanna do the congga! HAHAHAHA

We had the best buffet dinner! That photo above! Alyssa was shouting, "This is the best vacation eveeeeeerrrrrrrr!!!".
That, my friends, for me is the understatement of the year. hehehe

Clearly I enjoyed my imported tilapya. DELICIOUS!!!
Can you say HEAVEN?
I stuffed myself with everything Japanese (and then more, hehehe)

Yipeeeeeeee! That's us! The kids had their fill of shrimps and pasta! I couldnt be happier.

Thank YOU for the blessings.
Thank you, Joel!
