Talima Adventure and Water Park!!!
Facing Punta Engano, Mactan Island is Barangay Talima, Olango. A 15-20 minute ride on a clean beautiful white banca. For a mere P50 pesos person (one-way) you can be in paradise...
Ann has been forever asking me to go with them to Talima and finally on a Thursday morning I brought the kids for a fun-filled island adventure!!!
So okay, there was a mix-up on what time the banca (big ferry) shuttle departs. I literally shoved the kids and Letty on the boat while I skimmered away to park the car. We were holding the shuttle unnecessarily. I most sincerely apologize. (hehehehe)
It was my girls' first ever banca ride so they were kinda wary and uneasy. Minutes later they got the feel of it. Who wouldn't? It was a big banca which can accommodate about 20-40 people. All painted in pristine white, lovely white cushion (which allows one to doze off or relax in the middle), big white bean bags and the friendliest crew!
I had been out late the night before. Ok, just a little tidsy bitsy toxicated and I just wanted to close my eyes for some minutes. But I didn't dare miss the beautiful sight of the blue sea, green islands and yellow sun around me. The ride on the banca makes you anticipate for more...
And indeed you will not be disappointed:

ZIPLINE!!!
It is shorter than the ones we've been on but hey, for a 7 and 6-year-old, this goes on forever and forever!!!
I thought it would freak Alyssa out. Wrong!
She giddily asked to try it out! I should be scared but I wasn't. I was jumping for joy watching her glide across the water. Yep, she did it TWICE!

Mika and Maia

Entrance fee is P100.
Ride-all-you-can fee is P250.
So maybe it's a bit too much for most but hey, you should see what you will be "riding" on!!!
FUNFLATABLES Y'ALL!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHA this was totally hilarious!!!
Too bad we didn't have a waterproof camera with us so Im just doing some labelling. hahahahaha

You can choose to ride that red floaters to get from one inflatable to another but we chose to SWIM!!!
And during high tide that water is DEEP!!! We laughed and paddled our legs, climbing on them inflatables.
It wasn't easy thought, the climbing part. Slippery but fun. Climbing, forcing to lift your whole body up and slipping anyway were part of the fun!
On that circle thingy, we successfully hoisted Maia and Alyssa up. Our mistake was to put them side by side. It left Ann and me no choice but to position ourselves side by side also, which of course would lift the little girls' side high, just like a see-saw. But then of course, we needed to hoist ourselves up first. Well, I succeeded. I clung to them handles as if my life depended on them. Maia and Alyssa were already laughing hard. Ann was helped by the lifeguard. Then I cracked up when the lifeguard said, "mam, maybe it would be best for you to slide over to the other side." HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Owners, if you read this, please don't scold the lifeguard. Because in fact, I admired him for unselfishly acknowledging my non-existent upper body strength. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
And so I slipped. SPLASHing down into the deep blue. HAHAHAHAHA it was hilarous!

The most wonderful staff.

Yey!!! They have these for sale! It's my fave.

And look, aren't these adorable? Makes you wanna recycle actually. hehehe

Oh yes, we should be aware of this and be considerate.

Now I would like think this moth is a lucky one. hahahaha

Ann and Maia on the ride back to Mactan.

Low tide when we got back so we had to ride on these smaller bancas to get to shore. I wasn't too sure if my girls would buy that but they happily boarded!

We love our adventure!!!
