HER: "Coz Im happy..." and she wipes away little tears from her eyes with a big smile on her face. Awwww...
This trip had been on preparations for the past 4 years. And finally we are here.
It was a quick ride from our place in Lantau, being at Sunny Bay (I could hear the PA system lady now..."next stop, Sunny Bay, interchange for Disneyland Resort Line") hehehe.
Amazing how the place got its own Disney designed train. Amazing how they got their own station. Their own interchange station. Amazing they way they are treated and treasured by their government.
Oh yes, that's us, itching.

We couldn't resist doing our jump shot. So ok, the extra lbs didn't make it easy for me but I managed. HAHAHAHA. One full day of FUN FUN FUN nothing but FUN!
I know, I know...just isn't correct to be shopping at the first hour but hey, the shop was on main street. hehehe. Besides, the kids wanted their 2 toys (each) already. So that's me. Yes, where else would you find me but by the trinkets section.
I know I should have gotten the beads type. To go with my collection. But I figured it's a different and special place. It should be different. Novelty perhaps. Novelty it should be!!!
So I got the charm bracelet of Minnie Mouse!!! I will wear it always. Even on formals. HAHAHAHA
Yepeeee my red ribbon! I also tried on the pink. But red was more me. Shops were every where. Simply every where you turn! HAHAHAHA. Traps we called them. hahahaha. But they were just too cute.
Yep, those are my little mouseketeers!!! With their pink ears. Embroidered with their names.
Hmm...ok, ok...I just have a bone to pick with you guys. Yes, talkin' to you TROY BOLTON. hahahahahaha!
Booooyyyy...gotta go back to the studio boy. Put some little umph into those steps. So ok, you, well, maybe you're fine. And Gabriela. Fine. But those guys in red, and the cheerleaders...whew...kinda disappointing. Anyone know the choreographers in HK HSM? Those cheerleaders need some high doses of adrenaline!!! Pronto!!!
So you've got nice poses for song endings. Maybe we'll just let this one pass. It's just too bad we had to pick this one over another show which would probably had been way better.
So...they say I should have googled it. Who's got time to google SPACE MOUNTAIN??? HAHAHAHAHAHA! They were right though. Googling it would have done it. But then again, Im glad I didnt do that.
Space Mountain. There was a warning outside. Sudden drops, jerking, shaking and such. Even inside the waiting area, you are still given the chance to make a graceful exit. No way!!! I wanted to look at space!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DAAAAAAAANNNNNGGG!
I sure did see stars!!!
They forgot to tell me the magic words: roller coaster.
That should have made up my mind in a heartbeat. I wouldnt have gone it. There was no way I was going on a roller coaster. Apparently, I should have googled. HAHAHAHAH
Ohhhhh but it was so peaceful...dark, soft space music, galaxy to my right, spining...I love it!
Of course, just before they jerked me to the left going and spiralling down!!!
I SCREAMMMMMMMMMMED MY HEAD OFF!
I could feel my tears flying behind our path. It was way too late to back out now. Nothing much to do but hold on tight to Joel and LAUGH!!!
HAHAHAHAHA
IT WAS CRAZY!!!
It was the ultimate ride of my life!!!
It was AWESOME!!!
It was crazy how I was held sideways but with my hair flying about!
Whew!
Of course I got scared. I honestly thought it was just going to be a simulation of space travel. Not that of getting sucked into a black hole!!!
HAHAHAHAHA
And so, as soon as I got out I had to balance myself to stand still. I was woozy. I had to suck on something cold QUICK!!!
Forget about the $12 price tag on that popsicle! I had to eat that!

Whew...a fun filled day at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Joel was poofed. Hahahaha...just kidding. He was just fooling around.
Do you see my new red polka dot wallet? It's got Minnie Mouse picture on the other side.
If you are like me born late 60's, you would have been a great fan of the New Mickey Mouse Club. I grew up watching the show. I breathed and lived the show. My absolute fave. I had every Mickey Mouse toy in town. I wrote to them at Disney. And of course I got their signed postcard. I knew every song, every name of the member. Julie, Kelly, Tod, Lisa, Curtis...
The Disneyland day was super for me too. It is afterall also my dream. And I got to that dream. My wish on that lonely star in the sky has come true. Made no difference where I was...
Those who know me knows that trip to Disney was also for me and my soul. I am glad I got on that roller coaster. I am happy to have gotten my dream and shared it with Joel, Alyssa and Ava.
