I stay at home most of the time. I love my work/hobby. It allows me to command my own time. Most of the time anyway. But I almost never work on Sunday. That's a family day. I don't work the night after a shoot. I just make one quick run thru of all the photos I've taken of the shoot and turn the computer off for the rest of the day. I spend time with my kids coz I know the next 3-5 days would be editing marathon for me.
But I still keep my kids close even when editing.
Alyssa goes is off to school most of the morning so it's Ava who is left with me (and be content of a mother who is forever concentrating on her computer, hehehe). But she manages.
Really, I must say SHE is the one who manages to manage our time together.
She plays beside me. Draws and builds things and calls me when she's done to ask how her work is.
She 'cooks' pizza for me with her toy cooking set.
She makes burgers and ice cream sundaes for me with her clay and system.
She then 'takes' my orders and puts them on the side of my computer table.
Hehehehe.
