Probably the most amazing news today!!! The Archdiocese of Cebu is pushing on with their feeding program "Kusina ni Sta. Martha" (Kitchen of St. Martha)... named after the character St. Martha in the Bible, the sister of Lazarus, who worked in the kitchen to feed Jesus and His followers.
The Archdiocese has built a bigger kitchen to accommodate more food and people. And what makes this feeding program the most amazing is that different hotels and restaurants have pledged to give their left overs to the Kusina!!! And we all know how these left overs are... yah! More delicious than most of them home-cooked ones actually! Even their kitchen paraphernalia were donated.
If that does not move you, hear this: no tickets or registration needed to be able to get in and eat. Simply anyone can go and eat as much as he/she wants.
