What is true love by the way?
Unconditional, honest, true, stand-by-your-man kinda thing? I was just wondering. Yes, I actually think. Hahahaha! Seriously. I want to know.
If the spouse beats her/his spouse, there's supposed to be understanding? Not in my book. I dont think YOU would permit someone to die for his/her vows now, would YOU? To love and to hold, for better or for worse. Somehow, something's gotta give...right? You help those who help themselves. Im not making any sense now, am I?
HAHAHAHA
Rewind...
What is true love? They say you cannot choose who you love. When it hits you, it hits you. YOu're stuck. Hehehe... Why do I, to some extent...disagree? We always have a choice.
Let's zero in... to before marriage. I had been pronounced as 'practical'. Huhuhu, how unromantic. HAHAHAHA!!! Love is blind. So not true. You can always love with your eyes open. You must keep your eyes open. Like I said, so unromantic is me. They say when you are into so deep, it would be difficult to get out because apparently the brain stops when the heart beats. Yeeeeahhhh, okaaay, I guess. Ok, I agree. I just believe in forcing the brain to work in sync with the heart. For our own sake. There will always be heartbreaks of course. Love has got to have its drama. Oh, I believe in love. I believe in 'giving it your all'. Losing yourself in the romance. I believe in running in golden fields with the sun shining and birds singing love songs!!! Hearing the music..!!! I believe in being on cloud 9. But then again I believe in foresight. HAHAHAHAHA! I mean... it is just but right that one has to think far far ahead into the future right? One will profess his/her promise 'to love and to hold, for better or for worse, sickness and in health' another person for the rest of one's life, for goodness sake! Eyes wide open. Heart beating faster than Superman. Brain awake. Maybe it's a medical thing. Some sort of hormones that freezes the brain when one is 'in love'?
So...
Im actually talking about before marriage. If one chooses to leave because of certain circumstances that absolutely cannot be avoided... could it be said that the love was not enough in the first place? Why? So if a man, who is truelly (define the word please), utterly and visibly in love with his girlfriend/ fiancee, finds out that the sister is a serial killer (ok, too much drama! hehehe), he is just suppose to take that? Hmmm... stay with the girlfriend, no matter what... with his unconditional love, true love. Is it remotely possible that even if he does love the girlfriend... he can still think and be practical about the situation... and leave? Nicely, of course. Does he have the right to do that? Not fair for the girl!!! Spare me the waterworks, I am a girl. I know, I can hear the chorus: it wasnt true love in the first place.
What is true love?
Forsaking all others?
When one has the courage to say goodbye (emphasis on the doing it nicely please, hehehe) ...automatically -- it wasnt true love in the first place? Remember, this is all about before being married.
One cannot be 'practical' when it's true love?
If this sounds like I believe in divorce... then I guess I do. But forget about divorce. Im talking about before the marriage. Thus avoiding any possibility of divorce in the future?
HAHAHAHA!
Is it possible to feel true love but also be practical, to the point of leaving that true love and eventually finding another true love? HAHAHAHAHA!!! I can hear them now..."then it wasnt true love in the first place coz you found your true-er love." HAHAHAHAHA! As I write this blog, things actually are beginning to make sense. HAHAHAHA.
I still believe in being in love and be practical at the same time.
