Breath now.
Sunday.
I have not rested for past 2 weeks. I have not rested for the first 6 months of this year.
Time to hear the silence.
Turning off the computer earlier than usual last night it suddenly struck me I have actually nothing to do today. Everything done and good. I spent a good afternoon in a friend's office questioning, discovering and learning stuff. That was good. Solving every problem that had been coming up the days before with this so-called high tech environment I have submerged myself into. Hehehehe. High tech. Thinking about everything and brains flying everywhere. My friend explained those high tech talks which he pointed out were actually the simplest of simple things that people tend to attach to out of this world technologies thus becoming the so-called savvy terminologies.
Universal series bus parks at the port or terminal, just like in simple real life.
hehehehe. Went into a very unfamiliar place. Did a very unfamiliar turn on the road. Sat in my friend's office and realized it was a part of his day that I have not seen in all the 33 years that Ive known him. It seemed like the wrapper of the whole package. That was good. One of my oldest friends and it was just yesterday I have seen the whole of him. It also seemed to be a sign for me to rest from thinking now. Literally.
After all the vacations... the vacations from the vacations.
Weeks of sweet and happy frenzy crazy.
Thank YOU.
Everything done and good. Even better than I thought things would be.
All those packing and unpacking done, forgetting a thing or two.
Tucked deep in my bag was faith.
Thank YOU for not letting me forget that.
Thank YOU for holding my hand thru those ports and terminals.
...for wise decisions, sound mind, good friends, good life, good health, successful journeys.
Thank YOU for the sweet unpreparedness.
...for making everything work out.
Thank YOU for today.
I breath. I rest now. I smile.

Thank YOU.
