Who knows why but that's just how it is. Just as we reach the busy Salinas drive/plaza housing intersection, the car goes dead on me. It must have shaken Alyssa up a bit coz her eyes were so wide when she saw the other cars madly honking at us. Some drivers are just so cruel. It's not like I just stopped there on purpose, kitang kita naman na I was confused also and was having trouble. Luckily the car started and moved just long enough to let me reach and park properly at the gasoline station few meters ahead before the engine went dead again. And joel just left on a biz trip that very morning. Alyssa and I hopped on a cab and went to school. I went back to the gas station to check the car. I figured the guys might be biking somewhere in Busay (a mountain nearby) so I called Kuya. And sure enough they were on a talking ride, about 6kms up the hill from me. But the car was fixed before they reached the gas station. So all's well now. but Alyssa had tantrums the rest of the day. No matter the cause may be, she kept going back to the "car breaking down and noisy cars around us". (a traffic enforcer was kind enough to assist us and clear the way to the gas station).(the pic above was actually taken by Alyssa after we parked at the gasoline station).
