3 more days...
Are you READY?
LifeDance 2012 happens this Saturday everyone! Brace Cebu...brace. It will be EPIC!!!
Since I'm part of the roaster of the production photographers I had been staring and staring and staring at my gears and all the past week, making sure every single item on my checklist is accounted for. The biggest event to happen in Cebu!
Just like any photography assignment I go beyond the preparations of my gears. I always want to be appropriately dressed for the occasion. And this one definitely calls for the urban chic!
Trusty utility belt for photography with the lens caps and all will have to sit this one day out (the affair goes for 15 hours...). Out the closet comes my more casual Gucci belt bag. I like to go bag-free, therefore, worry-free.
(I use a belt bag when in concerts).
Definitely it will have to be flats. Comfortable blingy shiny sparkly flat sandals (you know me...) to last me 20 hours.
Since it's given that I shall be flaunting my black LifeDance shirt, ahihihihi...I went BLING shopping.
I was thinking silver...All silver wares are from Forever21 (ehem, they were on sale).
I've got to have a color. Bright one! It's hot pink for the night. I couldn't resist newly acquired teal beads and crystals so I'll throw it in too.

As you might know by now something big's a buzzin' in Cebu...

It takes a lot of conceptualization, planning, man-hours and effort to come up with something truly interesting and exciting. This is why the Department of Tourism believes it'll be MORE FUN IN CEBU, PHILIPPINES with LifeDance 2012.

LifeDance 2012 was born out of love and passion for dance/ house music and the dream of mounting an event of the same format that people with same interest have been looking forward in years to experience.
Patterned after some of the most anticipated dance events held annually, worldwide such as, Sensation of the Netherlands, TomorrowLand of Belgium and Singapore’s Zouk Out, this is Cebu’s take on these international parties that is sure to bring you a visual feast of the senses offering a vast floor space, massive staging, state-of-the-art lighting effects and pyrotechnics as well as an extraordinary line-up of performances.
As we envision LifeDance to become an annual event, we look forward to providing an entertainment extravaganza that will be comparable to its worldwide counterparts --- eventually.
Located in the Mandaue North Reclamation Area, The Boardwalk Complex will be opened exclusively for LifeDance2012. It will be the first event ever to be staged since its construction.
Set in a 14-hectare area of the 118-hectare Mandaue reclamation project, the Boardwalk Complex can't be missed. The property is located along Zuellig Avenue and sits adjacent to S & R, Cebu Doctor's University and the Singapore School Cebu. It is accessible from all directions with its towering structure visible from the Ouano Avenue.
The complex boasts of a secure and well-lighted facility with ample parking space, big party grounds, spacious cubicles turned VIP lounges, an inviting esplanade, a refreshing view of the Mactan Channel away from the bustling streets of the North Reclamation Area.
The complex will be divided into three (3) sections (General Admission, VIP Area and VVIP Area) that can very well accommodate a total of 6,000 partyphiles.
Preparations are in full swing. And to complete the LifeDance experience, the producers are committed to provide sufficient number of parking attendants, security and safety personnel, clean toilets with cleaning attendants, F&B/ Dining provisions as well as land, water and air emergency support.
